Great Tablet,
This tablet took forever to get here, but once it arrived, I have fallen in love with it. It was easy to set up, easy to download games and Skype. Picked up my WIFi almost instantly. Once I set up my gmail account, my google account loaded my contacts complete with pictures. Took a few minutes to figure out how to get to my pictures from my SD card, but once I did, the pictures were good quality. Skype was good on video, but the audio was a little jumpy. For the price, it is an excellent investment. Just the right size and weight to carry around to use while waiting to see doctors, etc. I would highly recommend this tablet to play games, get e-mail, and create documents.

|Not bad for the cost,
When I first saw this tablet, i was a little skeptical. But if you do some research, you will see that a lot of other name brand tablets like Samsung, Blackberry, etc., will run you more than double of what you will pay for this tablet. While Elsse is not a brand I was familiar with, I’ve been pretty happy with it so far. I guess it really depends on what reasons you are looking to purchase a tablet. Some of the features of this one could be better, but then again you get what you pay for. It has a front 1.3 megapixel camera which isn’t great. I think most smart phones and tablets come with a better quality cam, but it works with the exception of using it in Skype. I tried to do a video call in Skype and my image was discolored and blurred. So if your main concern is the camera and doing video chatting, you’ll probably want to look at another model. But for playing games, using the wi-fi to check email, or surf the web, this tablet gets the job done. Another thing about it that could have been an improvement would have been if there was a sim card slot, so you could connect via 3G through your phone carrier. You can use one of those USB 3G connectors, but if you don’t already own one, i’m not sure if it’s worth getting. The wi-fi works great on it, so I connect using it. For $99.00 i think you get a pretty decent deal.

This is me doing something I NEVER do. A video comment. Soooo easy to accomplish on this tablet. The progs on here are basic Android with a few bonuses in it. Hook it to a computer, dump out the junk in it (Like all pre installed OS’s have that are useless). There is a hidden folder in the APK with some extra software in it that you can install. I do not have the language pack to read it, but I did notice Skype.
The test music and video can be deleted if you need the room. Calm relaxing music in mp3 form and the video reminded me of a Pussy Cat Dolls video. Not good on cultures, but by no means are the girls unattractive. Good show off the 1080p format. I did not think this come in 1080, In settings it has a 1080p switch. Thought that was really nice.
What I didn’t like was the battery life. Sure I can turn off services, and reduce the brightness, but I only get 2 maybe 3 hours on it. The plug for power is a Qualcomm type mini pin dimm plug, the itty bitty version of prolly the one you use for your laptop. It’ll charge on mini USB, but not as quick as AC power. Both have no effect. 4.0 software on it for celluar phones not tablet, so it tries to find a cell tower. Irritating. Found a way to kill that process permanently.
Overall good Tablet. Works well. I left the film screen protector on it, and still works on touch.
